One of the most complete and diverse performers, Gabriella Sborgi, has devoted herself to the activity of concerts and opera. She studies and improves her talent at the conservatory G. Verdi in Milan as well as Lugano, London and at the Centre de Formation Lyrique de l'Opéra de Paris. Selected as the Italian representative at the International Contest “The Actor Singer” of the William Walton Foundation. She has worked at the main festivals and theaters in Italy and abroad including Madrid, Siviglia, Bilbao, Paris, Tokyo, Bonn, Innsbruck, Milano, Comunale di Bologna, Carlo Felice di Genova, San Carlo of Neaples, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Macerata Opera Festival, Teatro dell’Opera of Rome, Petruzzelli of Bari, La Fenice of Venice, Grande of Brescia, Bellini of Catania, Regio di Parma, Valli di Reggio Emilia, Regio di Torino. She works together with important conducturs such as Benedetti Michelangeli, Bolton, Bosman, Brott, Corboz, Fasolis, Francis, Güttler, Mehta, Noseda, Oren, Renzetti, Rophé, Soudant, Tate, Trottein, Wycik, Webb and directors such as Abbado, Ando', Brockhaus, Carsen, De Capitani, Dodin, Grinda, Hunt, Hytner, Judge, Krief, Livermore, Mariani, Micheli, Pelly, Pier'Alli, Puecher, Ronconi, Scaparro, Senigaglia, Strehler, Tiezzi. Being an influential performer of the theater of Mozard and of the twentieth century ( in particular Britten, Menotti, Ravel, Rota, Weill), she performs contemporary musicians such as Bacalov, Colasanti, Corghi, D'Amico, Denisov, Francesconi, Ustwolskaja, Vacchi. Thanks to the development of her voice, she is able to improve and consolidate the vocals of the Italian belcantistica (Rossini, Donzietti, Verdi) and of the German and French romanticism (Wagner, Bizet and Massenet). She combines opera literature to her passion of chamber music, with the collaboration of musicians such as Mario Brunello, Marco Rizzi, Andrea Lucchesini, Rocco Filippini, Antonio Ballista, and performs in Accademia di Santa Cecilia, Orchestra Regionale Toscana, FORM Orchestra Filarmonica Marchigiana, Festival di Brescia e Bergamo, Amici della Musica di Vicenza e di Firenze, Archi della Scala, Pomeriggi Musicali, Kollegium Vocale Innsbruck, Osaka International Music Festival, Festival di Toulon, Festival di Musica Contemporanea di Toulouse, Academie Internationale de Nice, Comunale di Bologna, Carlo Felice di Genova, Regio di Parma, Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, Accademia Chigiana, Biennale di Venezia. She has earned a lot of success by performing the Wesendonck Lieder di Wagner and l'Orchestra FORM diretta dal Maestro Hubert Soudant; at the inaguraton of the project Matha Argerich in Lungano with the Stabat Mater of Liszt; the friends of Music in Florence with Lieder di Chopin; in The Turn of the Screw at Comunale di Bologna and La Metamorfosi at the Opera in Florence.
