Maria Grazia Bellocchio has studied at the Conservatorio Giuseppe Verdi of Milano with Antonio Beltrami e Chiaralberta Pastorelli, graduating with honours. Later she studied at the Conservatory of Bern with Karl Engel and in Milan with Franco Gei. She has played with orchestras such as: Orchestra da Camera of Pesaro, Orchestra Milano Classica, Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Orchestra della RAI of Milano Orchestra del Teatro Comunale of Bologna, Scottish Chamber Orchestra, Orchestra Toscanini of Parma, Orchestra da Camera di Padova and the Orchestra Sinfonica G. Verdi of Milano. Maria Grazia Bellocchio has also performed with: Ingo Goritzki, Han de Vries, Renate Greis, Wolfgang Mayer, William Bennet, Laura Gorna, Cecilia Radic, Sergio Azzolini, Rocco Filippini, Franco Petracchi, Elizabeth Norberg Schulz, Bruno Giuranna. She plays in a piano duo with Stefania Redaelli. In 1989 she was invited to take part of the “Schleswig Holstein Music Festival Orchestra” directed by Leonard Bernstein. Maria Grazia Bellocchio is the assistant to Salvatore Accardo at the master classes of the Accademia Walter Stauffer at Cremona. In 2001 she was invited by the Università of Valparaiso (Cile) for a masterclass and concerts. Maria Grazia Bellocchio is cooperating with the Divertimento Ensemble conducted by Sandro Gorli. She has recorded works by Bruno Maderna, Mauro Cardi, Giulio Castagnoli, Sandro Gorli and Franco Donatoni for record companies Ricordi e Stradivarius. She is a piano teacher at the Istituto Musicale Pareggiato G. Donizetti of Bergamo.
