The 18 years old Italian pianist Antonio Alessandri is considered one of the greatest talents of his generation. After winning the 2018 Steinway Young Talent Competition, in 2022 Antonio won the Livorno Piano Competition, the Marizza Prize, the Giangrandi-Eggmann Prize and the Young Talents Prize assigned by Milan’s Conservatory. In 2023 the young talent was a semi-finalist in the Ettore Pozzoli Competition, where he won the Special Prize awarded by the Bracco Foundation for Best Young Talent. Antonio regularly performs in recitals for many Italian concert institutions. His activity with orchestras is also relevant, with his debut at the age of 12. In 2020 at the Teatro Verdi in Pordenone, together with Davide Cabassi, Antonio recorded Beethoven’s Concerto No. 1 in lecture-concert form, broadcast on RAI 5. Since the 21/22 season he has been a regular guest of the Pomeriggi Musicali Orchestra in Milano. Antonio Alessandri began his piano’s studies at the “Arrigo Boito” Conservatory in Parma, then at the “Giuseppe Verdi” Conservatory in Milan. In 2022, he was admitted to the prestigious Lieven Piano Foundation in Vienna. In May 2024 he made his recording debut with the Goldberg Variations by Johann Sebastian Bach: the recording by DueErre Produzioni is available on all the main online platforms.
