A variety of concerts tailored for every age will be onstage throughout the month of September offering kids the chance to broaden their horizons: Fairytales in every form with La Zanzafiaba and Prokofiev’s whimsical Peter and the Wolf; concerts that explore the worlds of musicology, ethology and jazz; plus two special events, one introducing kids to ancient Japan told through music and puppets and the other shows kids the fascinating art of Japanamation.

An improbable and ironic musicologist, with a pyrotechnic for a father, leads the public through music of the most famous composers.

“Will Peter be able to catch the wolf that roams in the forest?” Prokofiev’s musical fairytale is brought to life in an original interpretation by Orchestra dell’Accademia Teatro alla Scala.

The Musician's Farm
Stories of cats and dogs, mice, squirrels and hedgehogs are animated through the music of four great composers of the 20th century with recorded commentary by the most famous scientists.
