The University of Milano’s Fondazione Collegio has been recognized as a center of excellence by MIUR for accepting only the top students from among the city’s seven universities.
Its inter-university campus is immersed in greenery and hosts 100 students in a dormitory designed by architect Marco Zanuso. Admission is competitive and participants are offered an interdisciplinary cultural program parallel to their majors, all within a lively atmosphere of multicultural exploration. The Collegio di Milano, as the structure is more commonly known, opened its doors in 2003 with support from the seven universities of Milano, the City of Milano, the Region of Lombardia, the Province of Milano, as well as several large private firms and associations.
