Onofrio Della Rosa completed his musical studies in piano summa cum laude at the Conservatory “N.Piccinni” in Bari where he studied with Angela Montemurro and Carlo Grante. Whilst completing his diploma in piano, he also pursued and mastered his education in organ and composition. As a chamber musician and accompanist, he has collaborated and performed with important names of international concert scene. Since 1997 Onofrio Della Rosa has dedicated his musical interests to early music for harpsichord which he studied with Francesco Baroni and Bob van Asperen, and completed his master’s degree in harpsichord summa cum laude. Since then, he has performed as a soloist and in chamber ensembles with relevant exponents of the international concert scene such as Stefano Bagliano, David Bellugi, and Federico Gugliemo. Onofrio Della Rosa has also collaborated as a continuo with the ensemble “La Lyra di Amphione”, and has participated in the production of numerous vocal and instrumental work s of seventeenth and eighteenth century during national and international festivals. He has recently recorded and published the Goldberg’s Variations by Bach for “Digressione Music” which have received a flattering critical acclaim.
