MITO hosts a selection of winning pieces from the international com- position competition Feeding Music – Compositions from the World.
The competition was open to composers under the age of 40, and sponsored by the Italian Pavilion at Milano’s Expo 2015, based on a project by Divertimento Ensemble, and realized in conjunction with the City of Milano, the Region of Lombardy, MITO SettembreMusica, and Sentieri selvaggi. In concomitance with live performances of the finalists’ pieces, the award ceremony for the winning composition, chosen by an international jury.
