The Milano section of MITO SettembreMusica 2024 opens with a grand concert featuring La Scala Philharmonic Orchestra,conducted by Riccardo Chailly, as they perform music by two great composers of the second half of the 20th century, Luciano Berio and Wolfgang Rihm. Following Berio’s fourminiatures and Rihm’s magnificent orchestral fresco, we’ll be treated to suites 1 and 2 from Maurice Ravel’s ballet Daphnis et Chloé, an early 20th-centuryclassic.
