Focusing on the link between theater and cinema, this show pays homage to silent film and one of its greatest artists, Charlie Chaplin. The Gold Rush, one of Chaplin’s most famous pictures, was recently restored and shown at the Syracuse Film Festival (USA), with music by Gian Luca Baldi. Thus the idea for a performance that combines the atmosphere of that incredible season in cinema history and the extraordinary life of a Hollywood genius, along with all the equally powerful magic of shadow theater.
