On the fiftieth anniversary of Britten's passing, Simone Young open MITO with the work that most intensely recalls this year's theme: the War Requiem, where the Latin liturgy and the poems of Wilfred Owen intertwine in a meditation on war and mourning. Un’ Harmonia that does not erase contrasts but passes through them, seeking to listen to the other.
