Patti Smith is the surprise guest that MITO SettembreMusica will propose for the event Art=Electricity=Rock’n’Roll, September 12, at Triennale Bovisa, with Lenny Kaye, the historic guitarist that follows her since 1974. For the acustic project Seeds in the wind the rock duo will be on stage with band from Arezzo La Casa del Vento, a formation that has established an impressive collaboration with Patti Smith after the first meeting in Florence in 2009. They are linked not only by artistic affinities: the commitment to human rights, against the war and poverty, represents the fertile ground of this unusual music ensemble. Rock and folk in an unmissable concert with unreleased tracks and the historic pieces of the “High Priestess of Rock” in gipsy-style. On the occasion of the concert, with the same ticket, it will be possible to visit the exhibition It’s not only rock’n’roll, baby!, that displays the art works created by some of the most important rock musicians of recent decades, such as Patti Smith, Pete Doherty, The Kills, Alan Vega, Andy, Antony (Antony and the Johnsons).
