Villa Monastero is a site with a very panoramic position and a beautiful setting of flower gardens. Study and research activities, conferences and congresses take place during the year at the Villa. An important renovation of the structure, conducted in the recent years thanks to Fondazione della Cassa di Risparmio delle Province Lombarde, allows a more intensive and effective use. It was also carried out a development program of the Villa aimed at its opening to the public, to allow the growing number of visitors entering the historic house, that was granted only to the conferences’ participants. Furthermore, it was realized the preparation of fourteen rooms, today all open to public, relocating the furniture in their original layout and providing in some cases to their restoration.
