The descendent of a centuries-long military and civil academic tradition, the Politecnico di Torino
was founded in 1906, in the wake of the founding of the Army Corps of Engineers School in 1859. The campus located on Torino’s corso Duca degli Abruzzi was inaugurated in 1958. Home to cultural as well as scientific and technological events, the Politecnico’s Aula Magna hosts concerts and conferences organized by the Polincontri Association.
