On the site of the former Royal Raceway, which had already become a renowned concert venue by the late 19th century. One hundred fifty years later – a span of time marked by WWII bombing and numerous restructuring efforts, and the likes of Wilhelm Furtwängler conducting on a stage designed by Carlo Mollino – this venue has been home to RAI musical formations since the 1960s. In 2007 the Auditorium became the domain of the RAI National Symphonic Orchestra and the City of Torino.
