BLACK HOLE QUARTET New quartet from Milan, they move along the pathways of a contemporary jazz. The hallmark of the group is the rhythmic and harmonic interplay among the musicians, always in movement and evolution following the stream of improvisation. The symbiosis between the electric guitar and bass, with large set-up in expressive drumming, gives a particularly powerful impetus to the sound and timbre. Walter Donatiello - Electric Guitar Composer and teacher belonging to the European avant garde, he studied at the Berklee College of Boston with Mick Goodrick, Joe Port and perfected with Joe Pass, Joe Diorio, Arlene Zallman. Afterwards he studied in Paris where he specialized in contemporary music. He developed a musical idea taken from natural and artificial physical systems related to improvised music. He played with Gerry Mulligan, Mick Potter, John Thomas, Julius Capiozzo, Steve Lacy and many musicians of traditional and not. Director and professor of CEMM of Bussero (Milan). Daniele Cavallanti – Tenor Saxophone Tiziano Tononi – Drums Daniele Cavallanti and Tononi, leaders of the historical band "Nexus" and members of the celebrated " Italian Instabile Orchestra". The two musicians performed throughout Europe, Canada, USA and Japan, and during joint and parallel careers have made dozens of recordings. They collaborated with Cecil Taylor, Roswell Rudd, Dewey Redman, Mark Dresser, Herb Robertson, Glenn Ferris. Michelangelo Flammia – Electric Bass Michelangelo Flammia is in charge for electric bass training courses, harmony and improvisation technique at CEMM of Bussero (Milan). He attended a specialization courses and played with Giovanni Tommaso, Steve Lacy, Claudio Fasoli, John Riley, Massimo Manzi, Joe Diorio, David Friesen, John Zorn, Dominique Di Piazza, Marcus Miller, Bobby Previte, Marc Ducret, Eric Echampard, Bruno Chevillon, Lewis Barnes.
