Wolfgang, Wolfi, Punkititi – as the rest of the family called him – or Amadé, as he was known to his grandmother, is eight years old…and he can’t stand his grandmother! The unbearable old woman warns him to give up his dream of becoming a musician and urges him to get a “real” job – a plumber, a carpenter, or even a postman. One fine day the little genius comes up with a plan. He’ll write a new symphony with such powerfully magical sounds that even his hard-hearted grandmother won’t be able to resist it.
