Inspired by the genius of Steve Reich and his milestone Music for 18 musicians, Frost says of his project, “It’s like the last minute of a basketball game, when everyone gets an extra burst of energy, everything becomes frenzied, exaggeratedly physical and desperate. I wanted to do something that explored that kind of moment, something that opened it up and badgered it so as to drew it out.”
