A program entirely dedicated to the solo cello: Bach, Hindemith, Piatti, Tsintsadze, Cassadò: five centuries of music for a single instrument, with pieces like Bach's Suite No. 3 as the center of gravity, then the Hindemith's stylized violence, the Catalan nostalgia of Cassadò, the pizzicato inspired by a traditional Georgian instrument.
The polyphony, just one string at a time.
