A TEA WITH BEETHOVEN
Milano / Sunday 13 September 2026Teatro Bruno Munari / at 03:30 PM
A journey to discover Beethoven's genius through his string quartets. As the Master flies towards Olympus, Karl, his favorite nephew, bursts in. Karl tells us about the man. Not of the composer, but of the uncle: gruff, affectionate, contradictory, at times funny. Anecdotes, fragilities, obsessions, small domestic gestures emerge that contrast irresistibly with the solemn portrait we know. The basis of the show are the Conversation books, a precious testimony to the Master's life. A Tea with Beethoven is a fun and deeply human tale that brings us closer to the music and life of a genius, reminding us that behind every great artist there always hides, irremediably, a person.
