Thirty poems dedicated to the Trebbia River region of Italy by Giorgio Caproni reveal the unfolding of the human and intellectual trajectory of this great 20th-century poet. They depict tragic moments in Italian history and crucial transitions in contemporary culture. The recital provides due comment, framing them with traditional dance music of this mountainous area encompassing the four provinces of Alessandria, Pavia, Piacenza and Genova.
