A concert in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the founding of Pro Cultura Femminile. The foundation’s music section, founded in 1918, once included Ottorino Respighi and Wilhelm Furtwängler and hosted the Italian premieres of Igor Stravinsky’s Symphony of Psalms and Arnold Schönberg’s Pierrot Lunaire, both conducted by the respective composers.
