The youth orchestra of Bahia is part of the educational program NEOJIBA founded by the piano player and conductor Ricardo Castro. In 2007 the Maestro Castro has shaped his project according the Venezuelan music education system ideated by José Antonio Abreu. Since 2009 the Orchestra has undertaken with success an activity of international concerts in Europe and in the Unites States.
