A concert accompanied by stories simply told for children. An approach geared for little ones to two musical genres that at first might appear to clash – the dreamy, near-whispering strains of lullabies and the tarantella, the most unbridled and frenzied of all Italian folk dances. The project proposes works by classical composers including Mozart, Brahms, Donizetti and Stravinsky, alongside Sicilian folk tunes and pizziche from Salento, alternating tales and music.
