The wonder of Granados’ piano work resides in the blending of the evanescence of the impressionism of the early 20th century with the rhythms, colors and forms of Spanish tradition. As he does in his masterpiece, Goyescas, inspired by the paintings by Francisco Goya that hang in the Prado Museum.
