I Bassifondi (“The Slums”) are the reconstruction of a 17th-century Italian trio, when guitarists and lute players were accompanied by a colascione and percussion. Enjoy the music once heard throughout the ancient kingdoms, principalities and duchies of a faraway, fragmented Italy.
