VIVALDI AT MASS

Vivaldi composed many parts for mass to meet the liturgical needs of the Church of Santa Maria della Pietà and other Venetian churches. Extant pieces of this copious repertoire denote elements of the Ordinary, to which we can connect Psalms and motets for a reconstruction of a typical mass from the early 18th century.
