Adélaïde Ferrière, in her second program, pushes the boundaries a little further: from Rameau and Bach in his “Vivaldian” mode (BWV 593) to the threshold of radical
twentieth-century music. Cage for snare drum and chance, Psathas, Álvarez’s Temazcal for percussion and tape, all the way to Xenakis’s Rebonds, with its tribal flavor. Here, harmony becomes a relationship of gestures, intensities, and tempos: pure energy.
