KABBALAH OF SOUND
In 1994 Osvaldo Golijov composed a piece that has become a standard in the repertoires of clarinet and string ensembles. Rich in references to Jewish culture, explicitly taking its cue from klezmer music, it constitutes an enthralling journey through the thoughts and imagination of the medieval mystic Isaac the Blind.
