A BRIEF HISTORY OF THE STRING QUARTET

These award-winning young musicians from Lyon have played the world over. Their fresh interpretations harbor a special intensity. In this performance they engage in a review of quartets, from the 18th century to the present day, featuring pieces by grandpa Haydn and grandson Arvo Pärt.
