THREE

Bodies that move with the precision of Samurai swords, creating forms in the very same instant they’re destroyed, with newly invented gestures of plastic and surgical sensuality. This three-part performance, created in 2005 by the Israeli choreographer Ohad Naharin for the Batsheva Dance Company, features the enthralling pulsations of the Gaga movement language developed by Naharin, which is based on an understanding of the body and its limits. The result is an explosion of agility and personality.
