With a seating capacity of 1592, Teatro Regio features a 250+ square meter stage equipped with six movable decks, above which is a high-tech 27-meter-high flies structure. Today’s Teatro Regio, designed by Carlo Mollino, was completed in 1973 after a 1936 fire destroyed the original structure, which was inaugurated in 1740 and over time underwent various modifications.
