Inaugurated in 1930 as a theater and restructured to double as a cinema in the 1950s, this venue has played a key role in the cultural history of the city’s governmental district. The theater was restored by Torino’s Teatro Stabile and returned to City of Torino administration in 2006 with a modern design containing tiered seating, floor seating and floor-level stage, easily suited to the demands of even the most unconventional performances.
