Cinema Gnomo was completely renovated and reopened on February 7th 2009. In the hall and the foyer an air conditioning system was installed as well as a better insulated overhead structure. In addition there has been a technical modernization of the building and a reconsideration of the public spaces. With a younger audience in mind an installation of a bar and multimedia equipment has been installed allowing for trailer projections or film shorts from young directors.
