Alessandro Tardino

Alessandro Tardino was born in 1987 and began his musical studies at the Conservatory of Frosinone with Pietro Romano, flutist, and Cecilia De Dominicis, pianist. At 15 he graduated in the two instruments with honors. He made his debut in the orchestra both as a solo pianist - performing the Andante Spianato and the Grande Polacca Brillante of Chopin – and as a flautist. Since 2003 he is a student at the International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola where he studied with Franco Scala. Within the Academy has also attended Master Classes with Michel Dalberto, Gianluca Cascioli, Joaquin Soriano, Oleg Marshev, Andrea Lucchesini, Zoltan Kocsis, Yang Jun, Roberto Cappello and Robert Levin. In 2006 he graduated in piano with honors and honorable mention and receives Lazio Region Award as the best graduate of the year. At the same time participating in the concert season of "Les Musicales Semaines" of Crans-Montana in Switzerland both as a soloist and in a trio with Eric Crambes and Henri Demarquette, and in duo with Michel Dalberto. Among the commitments he played a central role: participation in the festival "Bologna is revealed" (in the event "Cage Aimez vous?" with the participation of Bruno Canino, Antonio Ballista and Philippe Daverio) and performance with the Auditorium Verdi Orchestra of Milan in a full recital review of the work of Chopin. The concert was recorded and broadcast by Mediaset. He plays for the festival "MITO SettembreMusica" and the Maggio Musicale Fiorentino, and held recitals in halls such as the Teatro Manzoni in Milan, the Gallery of Modern Art in Milan, the Accademia Filarmonica of Verona, the Municipal Theatre of Vicenza, the Accademia Filarmonica of Bologna, the Piccolo Teatro Comunale in Florence, the Teatro Alighieri in Ravenna. In 2011 he performed in the studio "BauArt Basel" Basel. The following year he won the competition of chamber music "Giulio Rospigliosi" in duo with Stefano Delle Donne and the same year he won the "Concours International de Piano de Lyon". Recently he performed in the auditorium at George Brassens Saint Germain au Mont D'Or in France.
