André Gallo

André Gallo has been a student of M° Franco Scala at the International Piano Academy "Incontri col Maestro" in Imola. The twenty-four-years-old pianist regularly gives solo recital in prestigious theatres in Italy and Abroad, including : Teatro Olimpico in Vicenza, Konzerthaus Berlin, Hamburg Laeiszhalle, "La Fenice" in Venice, Teatro Regio in Turin, Theatre "Al Bustan" Beirut, Politeama "G.Garibaldi" in Palermo, "Het Klooster" in Nuenen, the Raanana Music Center, Teatro “Dante Alighier” di Ravenna, Teatro Filodrammatici of Milan, Teatro Filarmonico in Verona,Teatro "G. da Udine "in Udine, Teatro" Chiabrera "of Savona,Teatro “Coccia” di Novara, Teatro " Alighieri "in Ravenna, Teatro "Manzoni "in Milan, Teatro "Manzoni " in Bologna, Auditorium" San Gottardo” in Milan, Teatro Municipale of Vicenza, Verona “Sala Maffeiana ”, Teatro "Vittoria" in Turin, Teatro "G.Fraschini" of Pavia, Teatro "Verdi" in Pisa. He also performs at the prestigious Concert Halls in the Netherlands, Israel, England, Germany, Spain, Switzerland, Czech Republic and Lebanon. He played as soloist with important orchestras, including : Hamburger Symphoniker, Teatro Regio Orchestra in Turin, “Mozart Orchestra” founded by Claudio Abbado, Württembergische Philharmonie, “Arena di Verona” Orchestra, the North Czech Philharmonic, Teatro Comunale Orchestra in Bologna. He regularly performs for important seasons and festivals such as Festival "MiTo" Milano-Torino, Festival dei Due Mondi in Spoleto, Unione Musicale of Turin, Società del Quartetto of Vicenza, MusicaInsieme of Bologna, Bauart Basel Festival, Festival "Al Bustan" of Beirut, Foundation Orchestra Sinfonica Siciliana, Lucchese Music Association, Festival "Ghislandi" of Crema, Festival "From Bach to Bartok" in Imola, Association" Friends of Giuseppe Verdi "in Busseto, Accademia Filarmonica of Bologna and Verona. His artistic choices rangs from classical to twentieth-century repertoire, with particular interest in French composers of the last century ; he also played the opera omnia for piano by Poulenc, Debussy and Satie. He performed with Marc Taube’s Trio, Konstantin Katz and Vadim Pavlov (first violin and first viola of the St. Petersburg Philharmonic Orchestra, Principal Cello of the Theatre "Massimo" of Catania). In 2006 he established the “ Trio Richard Wagner” with the first violin and cello of the 'Orchestra del Teatro "La Fenice ". He collaborates with the singer Alda Caiello and the pianist Alessandro Tardino; in 2013 he also collaborated with the violin player Pierre Amoyal. He is currently the Director of the “Imola Piano Academy” in Eindhoven. His concerts have been broadcast by radio and TV like Mediaset, the Dutch National Television and Radio Classica Italy. In 2006 he was awarded by the 2006 Galarte Music Section, with the patronage of the President of the Italian Republic. In 2008 he was selected as Fellow of the Association Bayreuth Richard Wagner Venice.
