SET AND RESET / RESET (2016) NEW CREATION

25 years, 60 countries, 500 performances, 7,500 workshops, 400,000 spectators: that’s the resume for the Candoco Dance Company, the contemporary dance company of disabled and non-disabled dancers. They are committed to challenging and broadening perceptions of art and ability, and prove that disabled dancers can attain choreographic excellence and extraordinary results. They bring to the Torinodanza Festival a pair of works created by two famed choreographers known for their expressive power: the American Trisha Brown, who passed away this year, and Yasmeen Godder, a young talent out of Israel.
