Minimalist, tender or ironic, the music of Satie has influenced generations of artists. His day was marked by a strong sense of group spirit – whether among classmates, teachers, disciples or rivals – and it was easy to be accomplices in creativity. This program – with a touch of nostalgia and lots of fun – harks back to that magic time.
