The Youth Orchestra of Bahia is a part of educational program of NEOJIBA (Nuclei Statali di Orchestre
Giovanili e Infantili di Bahia) founded from pianist and conductor Ricardo Castro. Maestro Castro in 2007 built his project on “El Sistema” of public musical education conceived by José Antonio Abreu. since 2009 the Orchestra performs regularly in Europa and in the United States of America.
