The famed Zingaro equestrian theater returns to Italy after many years, in a Torinodanza exclusive. Le centaure et l’animal owes much to the meeting of Bartabas and Ko Murobushi, one of the greatest living butô dancers. Following the successful Liturgie équestre, Bartabas digs deep as he explores poetic and musical languages of eastern origins, which comprise an essential part of his work. And in keeping with the myth of the centaurs, the scene swirls with men and horses.
