Thanks to V"MITO around town" you can perform in the heart of Milan and express your musical creativity. Send your application, and you may be selected to play with your band on the stage of Piazza Mercanti in one of three concerts devoted to the initiative. There are three different sections: choral music - is the section devoted to choral groups and ensembles. Each group will perform for a maximum of 15 minutes on Wednesday, September 8, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. music in the family - is the section devoted to children up to 12 years together with their family: parents and children, aunts and nephews, brother and sister. Each group will perform for a maximum of 10 minutes on Sunday, September 12, from 3 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. The organization will provide a piano. chamber music (strings and wind instruments only) - is the section dedicated to duo, trio, quartet and quintet. Each group will perform for a maximum of 20 minutes on Wednesday, September 15, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. To participate, send your resume with your artistic proposal for the chosen section to c.mitoperlacitta @ comune.milano.it not later than August 30, 2010.
