The Teatro di Verdura has been active since 1998, proposing a wealth of free-admission theatrical and musical performances in the gardens of the Fondazione Biblioteca, located on Via Senato. The summer season program runs from June through September, featuring two or three shows per week. In its twelfth year, the program ranges from ancient plays to contemporary experimental theater, from classical music concerts to jazz, from readings of the great literary classics by theater notables to performances featuring today’s upcoming talent – to the delight of ever growing audiences and positive critical response.
