MITO alla Milanesiana: incontro con Shinya Tsukamoto

Saturday, July 4th 9 p.m. at Teatro Dal Verme, MITO SettembreMusica, in conjunction with La Milanesiana Letteratura Musica Cinema Scienza, presents L’invisible sorprendente. The evening will be dedicated to director/actor Shinya Tsukamoto with the participation of Francesco Tricarico and Enrico Ghezzi.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS EVENT WILL TAKE PLACE AT TEATRO DAL VERME AND NOT AT SPAZIO OBERDAN AS ORIGINALLY COMMUNICATED.

Introduction: Enrico Ghezzi
Shinya Tsukamoto, born in Shibuya, Tokyo in 1960, started filming with an 8mm camera at the age of 14. Expanding the limits of fantasy and horror, his films interplay the representation of physical human pain with the weakness and strength of the modern city. He has won numerous international awards including The San Marco Special Jury Award at the Venice Film Festival in 2002 for his film A Snake of June, which will be featured on Sept. 20th as part of MITO SettembreMusica’s FocusJapan.
Entrance is free however space is limited. To assist with the cinematic projection it is necessary to pick up a ticket at the venue Spazio Oberdan, viale Vittorio Veneto 2, starting at 10:00 a.m. July 3rd.
