François “Ti Nonm” Fortuné sostituisce il fratello "Azor"

MITO Festival expresses his deep sadness for the death of Lénord “Azor” Fortuné, of the Haitian group Racine Mapou de Azor died last July 16th. The artist, that was supposed to conduct his band during the concert of MITO Festival Sentire Haiti – Il richiamo del vudù, on the occasion of FocusHaiti, on Saturday, September 17th at the Auditorium Giovanni Agnelli - Lingotto in Turin and on Sunday, September 18th at Teatro Dal Verme in Milan, will be replaced by his Senior brother François Fortuné, known as “Ti Nonm”. The programme of the concerts will not change. Lénord Fortuné – known as “Azor” – singer and percussionist, a benchmark for Haitian culture, has received the honours of a State burial ceremony and has been decorated by President of the Republic of Haiti, Joseph Michel Martelly, with the posthumous title of "Chevalier de l’Ordre National d’Honneur et Mérite".
