Cinema Anteo, just a 2-minute walk from the Garibaldi Station and from Brera, was a major art house film venue during the 1980s, and continues to be an important part of film culture in Milano to this day. Among the many initiatives promoted: Sound & Motion Pictures, the popular series of films shown in original language, Giorno di Festa, Sunday morning film screenings for children, lectures by filmmakers, and the outdoor summer film series Arianteo.
Anteo houses 4 film-viewing theaters, an exhibition area, the restaurant Osteria and a bookshop.
