Throughout September Milano and Torino play host to a number of corollary initiatives that may be tied into MITO SettembreMusica themes and programming.

Alongside MITO SettembreMusica’s thrill-packed 2009 program concert-goers may also wish to enjoy two Japanese film series in Milano and Torino, plus exhibitions and attractions in both cities, dance shows courtesy of Torinodanza, and a smattering of pre- and post- festival concerts (like the Gong series in Torino, a grand Japanese gagaku concert in Genova, and two contemporary music concerts from the Milano Musica series).
