He starts off in the music scene with the band "Piccola Orchestra Avion Travel" in 1980. His story is, on the most, the one of his band which, in almost 30 years of performances, has released several albums and written a lot of soundtracks, both for films and theatre pieces, collecting important awards. In 1998 with Avion Travel he takes part for the first time at the "San Remo Festival", with the song Dormi e Sogna, winning both “Critics Award” and “Quality Jury Award” as “best music and best arrangement”. In 2000 the band wins "San Remo Festival Contest" with the song Sentimento, plus once again the “Quality Jury Contest” for “ music and arrangement “. The band and Peppe were participants to a large numbers of music meetings such as “Arezzo Wave Festival”, Premio Tenco”, “May 1st Big Concert”. As actor his first appearance was in the short Tripota , done by Avion Travel with Italian actor Fabrizio Bentivoglio. Then in Domenica by Wilma Labate, La Felicità non costa niente by Mimmo Calopresti, Quijote by famous painter Mimmo Palladino and Lucio Dalla version of Opera del Mendicante. Moreover the musical/theatre piece La guerra vista dalla Luna, written by Peppe and acted by Fabrizio Bentivoglio. Peppe Servillo has worked together with the most important italian artists such as Ennio Morricone, Andrea Bocelli, Paolo Conte, Stefano Bollani, Caterina Caselli, Elisa, Roberto Gatto, Javier Girotto, Fiorella Mannoia.
