Mario Mora has studied the piano, the organ and choir direction. He is the founder (in 1986) and the director of Music School, Children Choir and Female Vocal Ensemble ”I Piccoli Musici” from Casazza (Bg), with whom Mario Mora has an intense artistic activity with concerts, recordings, and collaboration with the most important Theatres, Orchestras and famous directors as Riccardo Chailly, Romano Gandolfi, Helmuth Rilling, Gabriel Garrido, Rudolf Barshai, Claus Peter Flor, Jeffrey Tate, Wayne Marshall, Steven Mercurio, Peter Schreier. He usually teaches “vocalità infantile” in national and international courses, meetings, ateliers, to children’s choirs, directors and teachers. He was the teacher for the atelier “Forever classical” for Europa Cantat 2012. Mario Mora won “the best director” award at the 29th National Choral Concourse in Vittorio Veneto, at the 5th International Choral Concourse in Riva del Garda and at the 29th National Choral Concourse in Quartiano. He is usually member of the jury in National and International Concourses. Together with I Piccoli Musici he performed in the 2007-2008-2010 Christmas Concert which was broadcast all over Europe by R.A.I. and Mediaset television from the Assisi Cathedral He’s also the director of the children’s Choir at S. Cecilia Music School’s in Brescia. In 2001, he was elected by the Pope Giovanni Paolo II° “Knight of the Order of the Pope Saint Silvestro” for the educational and musical activity to children”. In 2008 he was awarded by the “Giudo D’arezzo” foundation, of the “Guidoneum Award”, a prize for his career.
