DESERT

Music evokes the desert, and the thirsty Israelites lament. But soon a wellspring is sounded out, and the choir comes to life. Nature and the mood of the characters are nearly in symbiosis, and make their way slowly through this powerful oratorio by C. P. E. Bach.
