VIVALDI’S RHYTHM

Sometimes it’s nice to get away from the city, in search of peace and quiet. But it would be a mistake to consider nature a static phenomenon. Just as it would be wrong to think of Vivaldi’s music as tranquilizing. When played right, it explodes in ongoing rhythms and inventions. It should come as no surprise that many of his titles are direct references to the natural world.
