Il Divertimento Ensemble, within in the scope of International Meeting for Young Composers “Franco Donatoni”, have concluded a composer’s competition in which they have commissioned three chamber works on the theme of migration, with a broad reach incorporating politcal, historical, mythical, and individual themes. The jury, comprised of Wolfgang Rihm, Hugues Dufourt, Stefano Gervasoni, Alessandro Solbiati e Sandro Gorli, from scores received from 14 countries, have selected pieces from Italy’s Daniele Ghisi, Argentina’s Fernando Fiszbein, and from China Lin Wang. The commissioning of the works has been realized thanks to the support of Ernst von Siemens Musikstiftung.
